Anyone doing a 3rd gen dampened tailgate on a 2nd gen?
    If so, link plz.
If not, I got a great setup that's gonna be very nice, I was just wondering if there was any interest in this sort of thing, plz let me know your thoughts on this.
    Thx

I have looked into it. The mounting holes don't match up.

I'm just trying to see if there's interest before I start making jigs and things for a production kit, it's rather easy and works very nice, I'm working on a write up as well. Thx for your opinion, every bit helps to make nice product.

Oh I see, yeah that’d be great to see how you did that. Seems like a lot of ppl have tried but nobody’s figured it out yet.

The OEM pieces are spendy. I'm curious to see what you come up with and what kind of price it's going to be. It's one of those things that at $60 people will be interested. At $250, that's gonna be a hard sell.

Ya, I get what ur saying and it's about right, that being said, i am usually able to make things that are fairly inexpensive but are nice products and for me it's not so much about the money but the advancement of the sport. I think i can come in around 80 or 90 bucks for a kit that has templates and all the necessary doodads for the fyi guy in his garage. If there's no interest, then I'll have the only one.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Given the kbvoodoo tailgate cap and mountain hatch cover, my tailgate weights quite a bit. I'm interested in said product.
