LOL! Got the sunroom moving at top speed, and a little ugly fan blowing into the house, because the house AC didn't keep up. We just need a top off, but didn't hear from the AC guys today. What's new. I have house on fan only again, and will get back to AC in a while, because that worked last night. Freon is probably freezing up in the attic - and thanks to radiant barrier, it's only 79 in the attic!!!!!

Kreuz is the original and best IMHO, in a new building off 183. He's the brother.
Smitty's is the original BUILDING for Kreuz, it's off the square, and the building smells like meat. She's the sister.
Then there is Black's, and they are growing around CenTex with the offspring getting new places in San Marcos, Austin, New Braunfels. My least favorite.

Brother & Sister? Kreuz is the off courthouse location. Since like 1900 or so. Father owned the building, meat market, and BBQ. Left the building to the daughter. Left the businesses to the son. Daughter kept raising the rent, to get the business. Son finally built the new place, and then took the existing fire, in a galvanized tub (not kidding), dragged it down the streets from old to new in a parade, so the fire at Kreuz has NEVER gone out.

No fooling, was a 60 Minutes story a decade ago.

 

Blacks lays there claim to fame as "Oldest in Texas - Same Family". That part is true.
The other places I didn't mention are trailers, and the city ran the best one of those off. You ever visit, hit the other old ones if you have had Black's - you won't go back!
