What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yes getting the dealer to add mods and negotiate for them is badass. Sometimes though they are ass hats and won’t do it and just want to charge you more. I’m going through this with the truck I will pick up next week.

 

I woulda drove the crap out it!! There’s an Overland edition coming to one of my local dealers next week and I will drive that!

 

It's my understanding that although you would see a warning that the key fob is not detected if out of range the vehicle will keep running until you shut it off. Then it will never start until the key fob is detected again. Perhaps someone has tested this theory already and can confirm. On another note, regarding the "location" of your truck. If it is in a garage then you should NEVER auto start it unless the garage door is already open, unless of course you want to poison yourself with carbon monoxide.

I have started the truck in my driveway, and left to go back in my house with my keys in hand. So I am away from my truck with the keys out and the truck stays running. It will beep, but keep running

Got mine in today. Very nice accent to the interior.
Also added a little decal to the rear. Seller included it with the TRD for my shifter.

Awesome, glad you got a good deal on that, the sweet talking paid off lol! I probably will have to wait a little while before getting one, may start saving a side stash for it. I just had to buy a new AC and HVAC system in my 12 year old house smh.

About 3 months but there was a hold up with the filler plate supplier. The sliders (without the filler plates) were done within 6-8 weeks.

 

The new Overland model is only $51,700 where I live. Being a Chrysler product wait 6 months and buy it used for around $23,000. Comparing the looks and style my 16 Tacoma should be worth around $61,000. Sadly I wouldn't consider an even trade for that Jeep.
