    If you go larger you will force the blower into an "overdrive" condition, causing more boost than what you currently have. Normally I would not be against more boost, but with the crank pulley secondary, it already rides so close to the drive idler pulleys that anything larger over what is OE can potentially create a rubbing situation.

    Thats what I did. It made a pretty noticeable difference. A decent mod for the money invested.

    Larger crank pulley and larger supercharger pulley. Less belt slip, same boost.

    There is potentially A LOT of material which could be removed from the Magnuson supplied 5 rib secondary crank drive pulley, we could get a pulley built like a 5 blade style rim, which is then micro abladed for additional belt traction, similar to Griptec pulleys.

    If we get enough interest, we could actually potentially contact them themselves and have them build a handful of custom one off super lightweight billet Griptec supercharger crank pulleys. :D

    Couple that with an NST Or sized crank pulley driving behind this thing and you'll have a very fast revving boosted taco! Faster boost engagement!

Made a drain attached to the return hose. So I can drain out some water and add ice. After trying to bleed it I found I needed to remove the stock overflow. It was making air in the line. Tried for 20 min with air pockets and spraying water at me. Once I removed it. It was fine. I just have to swap some hoses around when I go to the track so it bypasses the heat exchanger. Pretty happy it’s done. Gotta finish meth now...

    My shit is all stock.
    Just an idea here.

    Since a lot of us will soon have our blowers and valve covers off to do injectors and cam gears; it wouldn’t be too much more work to change out the exhaust cam entirely. Hmmm? Blower specific of course.

    I saw some hubbub aboot cams a couple years ago. Did that ever become a thing?

    @Torspd you and @GT7 were involved in that discussion weren’t ya?

    I believe @Torspd told me long ago that if you got cams, you would NOT want the cam gears. Cams are like 1500 ish or more I bet

    Still figuring stuff out. If we do a 4 twist with 270° we may have to change the bottom of the blower to optimize the airflow out of the blower. I thought it would be as simple as just swapping out rotors but there is a few other design considerations to consider. If we have to change the output hole of the blower it may just be better to go with a twin screw design as they make boost faster than roots and run slightly cooler too I believe. When I take my blower off to do fuel rails/injectors I am going to get measurements and see what can be done.

    I emailed gadget the other day and he wouldn’t give basically any money off his whipple kit if you exclude everything I didn’t want. Ucon,fuel system etc. What a dick.

    So a 2.3 or 2.9 from whipple is only around 2800. Id rather spend money on making a 76mm TB fit to that and an adapter etc to fit to the lower intake manifold. Big project but not to bad when you have a spare engine on a stand to test fit

    Yes the lower is going to be tough. waiting to go get my spare engine in August. fun times. I'm thinking a 2.9 is in order. my hood is already f'd from hail damage
