This is some seriously messed up weather we have been having lately.

Yep. Good thing the Google doodle is reminding me it's the first day of summer.

 

Anyone done greasable leaf spring bolts? Really getting tired of having to spray mine every time they get wet.

Looking at some All Pro ones. They have 2 different sizes. Guessing one is front and the other is rear?

 

Upper and lower for the rear shackle. You won't need them for the front.

 

My front are the ones that are squeaking

Stupid question but...have you tried pulling them and greasing the hell out of them already?

 

have you tried turning the radio up? that fixes almost all of my squeaks and rattles

 

Low Range sells Silverback gears; I called and their sales rep said they're made by trail gear.

I figured if I was going to pull them all the way out I might as well just swap for a greasable bolt

 

Hard to argue that logic, I always look for those little things I can do while I have stuff apart...just trying to save you some money.

 

I love it.

It's been so cool and rainy down here in the hellhole front range.

Granted nothing in the garden is actually growing and what has is being eaten by the critters.

 

Oh trust me I love the cool nights, my sleep is 10 times better, but this weather makes camping and high country exploring extremely difficult.

 

Yeah, we haven't ran the AC yet this year, enjoying the relaxed electric bill so far.

 

We have lettuce for days and the carrots appear great above the surface. Strawberries keep getting picked by critters so we hung them.... We shall see. I've had more rabbits this year in the back yard and I need a silencer for my .22 to pick them off...so the neighbors won't hear

 

Aaah half day today! Time to go prep the taco for a leaf swap tomorrow

 

Do they hear you hanging the critters?
Seems cruel and unusual compared to just shooting them.
