I've got a set with new push tabs sitting in my storage unit from my old 03

 

i have almost finished replacing the weathered bolts in my chrome trim wheel moldings,
lotta work to spray out the openings (26 of them) with reg wd40 and then coat the insides and new bolts with the wd40 long-term corrosion spray
I thought I had always sprayed out my wheel wells fairly well over the years but was amazed at the crusty bolts I was taking out
anyways, it looks sharper now than before i guess lol
need a real good detail job on my black paint and take out the surface scratches and swirly marks
black trucks out there know how I mean

 

I know exactly what you're talking about ! That's how my old 95 was. Took those off as well and ended up selling them. The good thing about the 95-97 fenders is that the chrome trim came off with no holes on the outside of the fender. I drove my '03 around for 6 years with holes in the fenders and bedsides from the tabs. Luckily it was dark green and you couldn't tell

That green truck was the same way. Had a tone of scratches and swirls. And then the clear coat started to go
