    Are those sliders welded to the cab of the vehicle? Is so I would not recommend that because you want it to have impact in flex on the slider if you bang that you're banging your cab and you may not be able to open your door

    No, his rocker panels were rusted through so got them replaced with square tube. Not meant to be rock sliders.

    I am thinking about making actual rock sliders with that tube size. not welding them to the cab and not replacing my rocker panels.
