Actually on marketplace someone was selling a tailgate. I started picking their brain as to why they were selling but they wouldn’t answer the question.
Apparently in the states tailgates get stolen quite frequently

I have steps/nerf bars and they have taken a few hits and are about 1/4 inch from touching the body on one side and just about touching on the other. If you don't plan on wheeling much then you are probably fine. If you do, they won't hold up like actual sliders.

 

I had an issue with the tranny on my car, was stuck in forth I couldn't move it.. Clutch wouldn't engage. Turns out a linkage broken.. Anyways it was immobile.
They put wheel dollies on it (rear wheel drive) and towed it away

 

what car was that? and that's sounds like they knew what they were dealing with, might be somebody in the neighborhood who gave a tip?

 

Definitely looking into something.

My key is pretty far in the house so they can't copy the signal too easily.
