We were on vacation in Costa Rica and had to come home early as my wife broke her rotator cuff in the surf...
She is a trooper and thankfully you can purchase decent drugs over the counter, so that i could get her home asap.
Hopefully we will find out in a month if she needs surgery or if the bone will knit itself back together. It is a clean 4” longitudinal break.
    So we will see.
Nothing they can do except manage the pain right now...

That's not good to get the tank that empty !!

Most in tank electric fuel pumps rely on the fuel in the pump basket to cool the pump . The pump works harder during low fuel volume and it can overheat

I have heard that too however I just took mine down to 10 miles to empty but couldn't force more than 18.5 gallons into the 21 gallon tank. I think a person would be hard pressed to get it empty enough to do damage?

Nice quiet evening at work. Bunch of people took vacation today. That means less work for me.

Back in the early 90’s bought a house with a VA loan. It was off Amargosa Rd, west of the freeway. I enjoyed living there. Sadly we had to return to LA.
