Anyone ever felt like they time traveled?
My alarm went off at 1:45pm to let me know that I needed to get ready for work and leave by 2pm. Just like it has for the past...idk, 7yrs.

Alarm goes off, check the wall clock, get cleaned up and leave at 2pm. 45 mins to work with a stop at the Spinx.
Clock in and wondering wtf all these people are working OT from 1st shift.
Set my part up for the night and sit down to browse the web. Glance at the time and it says 2:15.

Wut? Look at the computer time. 2:15pm.
Triple check the wall clocks. 2:15pm.
I'm like really, seriously confused right now.

I tried going fast once, it was NOT smooth. In fact I felt like my spine was coming apart.

Boat sides kinda just put a little angle to them so the outside edge is fairly thin. Only issue I see with it is that design works great out west where shit isn't coming at you from the sides and you need to protect from trees or other rocks to keep you off them. Great for coming down on though.

I have been thinking about something like that then I look at my sliders and they are holding up great plus don't weigh what that would probably end up weighing.

Looks nice. I’ve seen a guy do that for “rust repair” on a Silverado. I used 2x2 and bent tubing for a step, but there’s no reason you couldn’t add a step to the 2x5 as well if you wanted. I’d also carry it back all the way to the rear fender, that’s saved me some body damage when I’ve gotten hung up and sliding on a rock.

Looks nice, did you hit a rock or just over-torque it?

It’s not too difficult a project. The hardest part when I did it was bending the side steps. While that’s not necessarily the most difficult, it just requires some kind of pipe bender.

So I just used a squeegee with soap and water to clean a few windows around the house and holy shit that works a hell of a lot better than Windex and paper towels! Don't think I'll ever go back to the old way! It's easier too!

I climbed the big ledges at URE on Dickie. LWB + tall ledges + not going to get denied = bent and twisted DS. In all honesty it should of went a long time ago. I have been laying on it, dragging it, hammering on it, bumping it, denting it for over a yr now. It finally gave up. Pretty damn tough if you ask me. Can't complain.

Anyone know the best way to get rid of scratches like these?
