You are becoming more and more of a beach family. Pretty soon you'll be posting pics of Trout and Redfish. You'll build a removeable light set up for the front deck for flounder gigging. Then you'll up the game to a CC and hit the gulf and ledge.

What kind of question is that you know this group well at least a few of us.

Last sunday was my 3rd time so far this yr. Dutch is washed out in some areas a couple of bypasses have been either cut or not approved made on dutch where the bad washouts are. Couple of big mud holes on RML.

Dickie Bell took my DS out finally. Had to remove it on Dutch running it backwards. A very tight bypass between 2 trees took my mirror dented my door and took @SearArtist mirror trying to get me up the hill. Ran most of dutch in FWD only needing a strap twice. Pretty Epic father's day run.

A little of this and a little of that.
Idk who all would be interested but I’m seriously considering getting back into bowyer work. Considering offering made to customer spec and demonstration / classes for those interested. Also, tinkering with the idea of a micro smithy. Possibility of fly tying demonstrations / classes as well.

I miss tying my own flies. Used to teach that at the wilderness program I worked for. I want to get into saltwater fly fishing but just don’t have the time.

You thinking about guiding any trips? If so, I’ve got some people in raleigh that I might could hook you up with that could turn into a regular gig

Come up here and bring a yak. At the mouth of the Eno where it dumps into falls lake there are Carp for days in the shallows very easy to learn and pick off.

So got the boat, no plug.. depth finder that I got added to the deal, doesn’t work.. trailer winch is completely fucked, teeth are all bent, hook was flaking off huge pieces of steel (rusted to shit) and only had one mounting bolt??

Needless to say I have learned that when purchasing a boat you have to do more than just check the boat.. trailer was a 2016 so I took that for granted. Couple hundred bucks later and now I’m only short a depth finder..

I’ve owned it for less than 24 hours and it’s already costing me money
