I'm working all this weekend. Hopefully next weekend will be my cook. I have a secret weapon too! Or secret plan really...

If all goes well, I'll be going to the source :spy:

    Howder do guys,
I was wondering if you guys knew how to care for an iron skillet. Ive heard throw it in the coal, Ive heard dont throw it in the coals, Ive seen some people pour oil on theirs, then what kind of oil, do I have to wash it off before cooking etc etc Can I just rub some olive oil on it and be done?

Seems to be a lot of good knowledge in there.

Belongs to a friend of mine that I'm picking up in the morning and I will be towing the buggy to shoot Horse and Hunt with him. He now owns a FJ but has had Toyota pickups since the first one came out. His wife drives a Tundra.

It is a 12 ga. Winchester 21 first year gun with double triggers and 3 digit serial number. The metal has been restored by Doug Turnbull Restorations. He just had the custom stock done at Wenig in MO. he went down for a fitting and picked out 75% Select wood when they were done. Only took 6 weeks to complete including checkering and finishing. It even has a custom palm swell in the straight grip. It is choked .022 and .042 (tighter than hell). To say it shoots where he looks is an understatement. Spendy project but he has started to look for another project already. His wife told him if he sold one of his kayaks he could get another project gun. He has a great wife! And nice guns.

I didn’t know what it was, but KNEW it was special!!! My favorite uncle (actually named after him) has a decent collection of sxs’s, mostly Parker’s and L.C. Smith’s. Seems he has a few old Fox’s as well. He’s the person that made me love sxs’s. Again, all those appear awesome, but the straight stock just “does” it for me.

I picked up a brick at Costco today. I'm going to add it to tomorrows smoke.
