I have a canopy on the back of my truck and the overhead light went out. I tried replacing the bulb but it didn't work. I am sure it has to do with the wireing. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix or figure this out.

Look and make sure all the connections are good, if you have a voltmeter you can use that to see if your getting any juice to the canopy
