If you’re having any thoughts about getting a 4wd and hitting trails, Just save your money on all that stuff, wait a bit and trade for the 4x4. I kept my 2015 prerunner for a year and traded it for the 2016 TRD OR 4x4.

Well woke up to a really bad storm and no power. Everyone else good? Looks like it came down from the upstate.

 

Might be headed your way but not sure. Scared the shit out of me. Woke up from a dead sleep to 60 mph gusts throwing rain into my window.

New the cheapest is 750. These are Pelican. My poor plano case has taken a beating and it shows. I want something more waterproof, larger, and tougher than I have. Was also looking at these in the 232l

I wanna get a slim case to put on the roof rack, but I’m 99% sure the truck on fit in the garage at the point. Not willing to give up my garage parking at this time.

 

Roof rack should be on at some point this weekend. Gotta figure out how to make the lightbar work, it’s too long for the cutout in the fairing

 

That's the one I have need bigger and sturdier. I've punched some holes in it and it's not water proof enough. It buckles when I sit on the lid.

 

Can you guys post pictures of trail head or give an address ?... I won't be able to make it tomorrow ...

 

I’ll likely do a .gpx if you have something that can take it. I use the motionX app to track stuff.

I’ve personally beat the crap out of pelican cases, dragging super heavy ones up and down stairs, onto helicopters, in and around navy ships, they are nearly indestructible. I’ve only broken a few latches over the years.

Oh I know I have one rifle case it gets beat pretty hard and protects the valuables inside better than any other case I've owned. I just don't really need to spend the $$$ right now. Just nice to see some reasonably priced used ones out there.
