That’s pretty clean. If I did any ditch light it’d be in the mirror rather than the hood brackets

I had a remote start on my last vehicle. It wasn't keyless so it's a bit different, but I could start the car, unlock the doors, insert the key and turn the ignition, put it in drive and go. This is not how it came from the dealership install however, because yes, they over compensate on safety features. As soon as I unlocked the doors the engine would shut off. I used the brake pedal to toggle through a "hidden menu" for lack of a better term, to set it up the way I preferred.
There are certainly ways to deter theft yet still provide functionality. It is quite obnoxious to have to turn the truck on twice every time you wanna use the remote start and not an issue of laziness, just an issue of improving functionality.

And as far as I'm concerned there's no reason to be an ass in this situation, and it's not humor unless it's funny?

Finally made time to do one of my seats. With all the The work I do on other people's trucks it's hard to find time to work on my own. There is a car show tomorrow and I wanted there to be progress to show. Let's see how long it takes me to get the rest done now... The wrinkles will come out with some time in the sun. Looks really good! Are your yellow fogs overlays or painted? I bought a roll of a yellow overlay and I’m having the hardest time putting it on because our fog lights are so curved. Ugh lol

Thank you. My fogs now are the Baja amber squadron. But yes I did that before with the yellow Lamin-X for our stock fogs and learned it the hard way. For best results and easiest installation of that yellow film I would suggest taking out the fog lights themselves, that way you can have it neatly installed. It’s not that hard to remove those fog lamps.

Looks like you do upholstery and I’m sure you maybe tried or already know but a good upholstery steamer under the material and applied to the foam does wonders.

Amazing work btw! The baseball shift knob is pretty awesome too. Your work?

Yeah, I had a SF Giants decal right where this one is and it was about that size (8") in height and it was just too big for that rear glass and looked weird to me.

This one is perfect size IMO and its Toyota ;)

Stopped by the dealership today to price out a new set of rear bumper covers as a few other dealerships (out of state) have varied pricing. Guy behind counter was able to drop nearly $40 off the price of each cover, so came out with a great price for OEM replacements. One is on order and will be here Tuesday, so only walked out with one today.

Funny thing, found out the guy helping me was/is a TW member and has a nice looking 3rd Gen himself. Good times.

Do you like the spare mounted on the back like that? What’s the benefit? Departure angle or clearance?
