Only thing I really hate about tent camping is the damn heat!! If the area I’m sleeping in is above about 70* I’m not going to get much sleep if any. I like it cold when I’m sleeping, I sleep just fine with a sleeping bag and just a pad at 50*.

I guess the 2nd thing that sucks around tents is getting them dry before packing them up for a while.

Well we left Jackson Hole at 5:00 am Friday and got home at 2:30 am this morning. I also dumped 5 inches of rain out of the rain gauge and it’s still raining. Oh well... I don’t feel like doing anything after 21.5 hours on the road. Guess we’ll just unpack and chill for the day.

If I had a time machine I'd go back to the 1880's. I guess I watched too much Gunsmoke and Bonanza growing up.

Speaking of time machines...The ghost town of Mogollon. Once a thriving mining town. When the gold ran out, the thriving ran out. The road up to it hasn't been improved on. It was a one lane wagon trail that had my asshole puckering. I'm glad I went once but you'd have to pay me a lot to go again. Those canyons are deep. I did see a female elk on the way up. Only big game I saw the whole trip.

Maybe the Y2K bug got us after all. It was just more subtle than expected.

My daughter works a similar schedule. 4-12s swing. It’s hard for their family but she makes good $!

Do the tourists around you look concerned about your raging boner?

Awesome pictures all around. I too, love history and as I've mentioned before I'll be exploring your state more this year.
