I am able to to turn on my truck but wont be able to take the key out of the ignition. I found out when my truck runs out of battery, I am able to take out the key perfectly but as soon as I jump start my truck, the key gets stuck again.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Is your steering wheel locked?

Jiggle the steering wheel and your key should come out.

I tried jiggling, putting it from drive to park, nothing work. Key only comes out when battery is all drained.

try pushing forward on the shifter into P with one hand and see if the key turns to off with the other.

I assume your shifter is very loose. You need to replace the shifter bushings-less than $10 at the dealer. The bushings are so worn or completely gone and the truck does not know shifter is in neutral and will not release the key.

Today finished working on 04 prerunner ac .Same problem . Niece been having problem awhile. Had lot of play in shifter so guess bushing is worn like 6thtoyota said. Took shifter apart and this is whats happening . When putting in park pin in shifter engages switch and pull switch up when you release button . If shifter is towards driver it will not engage switch . If you have this problem when putting into park push shifter towards passanger side and pin will engage switch
Last pic I added washers and nylon spacer on bottom of shaft to eliminate play untill I can get bushing
