Bilstein 5100's all around, fronts set to 1.75, 18" Method Race Wheels, 285/60/18 Cooper Zeon LTZ
Well i finally had my first mods done to my truck. Not very daring or extreme by TacomaWorld standards, but it was the look i was going for. I like to thank everyone on here with all of your awesome truck as inspiration for me to find the right combination to work for me.

What i did was add 5100's all around, the fronts are set to 1.85" (or whatever height that is). I have 18x9 Method Race Wheels (4.75" BS) and 285/60/18 Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. The truck is Canadian so it already had the upgraded leaf springs. My rake was about 3" back to front before the lift and now i have about a 1.5" difference. The front went up 2.5" and the rear 1.25". The tires stick out approx 1" from the fenders which i am ok with.

It rides great and the alignment seemed to work out well. I have to get used to the width of the tires as they definitely grip a lot better than my stock crappy 245/70/16's did. As for rubbing there really isn't any. I had to trim off that droopy piece of plastic at the front of the fender by the fog lights and i get the slightest rub on full reverse lock but i can live with it.

Next mods (mine are fairly subtle) fog lights with HID, painted black front lower valence, color matched grill and a new head unit inside.

That's about it. Love wasting time on this site. Thanks again to everyone who endured my - "will this fit" and "how much were those" questions.

I will get more pics up later if people are interested.

Sorry i don't know how to put the picture in the actual thread.

Looks good! I'm not sure how the rear went up 1.25". What did you do there? I'm looking at the 5100s to level a 07.

Wondering this myself. It's my understanding the rear 5100's don't provide any lift, but do allow a bit more suspension travel over the stock TRD's ?

I'm probably going to be installing 5100's on all four corners, but I wouldn't want the rear raised any more than it already is with the stock 4 leaf pack.

OP, did you do something else to the rear like blocks or ... ?

No. The rear shocks don't add any lift. I just mean overall the wheels and tires increased the rear height by 1.25". The truck sits almost perfectly level now with the slightest rake.

.....oh, thanks for the comments. I will post more pics when i can.

I would step the front 5100s down to .85. IMHO, I think your front sits a little to high. Otherwise if you dont mind, I love it man!!
