I bought an e locker from a 2005 tacoma for a killer deal of 300$ complete diff from drum to drum. I have a non elocker on my 1st gen sr5 tacoma and its cracked so i wanted to replace it. Does anyone know if the leaf perches are in a different location than mine or would it bolt right up. Thank you for the help

Where i live they are super hard to find and when you do people want like 1200 for them. Would it be hard to grind them off and weld on new perches?

Nope just gotta put them in the right spot and right angle. Not sure if the diff flange is the same or not

I believe the diff flange is drilled differently. This is why ECGS offers "double drilled" flanges

Honestly I’d probably sell it and wait for a first gen axle. It’s a lot of work to get a second gen axle to work with the perch relocating and the flange converting.

Is it even the same gear ratio as you front differential? If you run different gear ratios in 4x4 you will grenade your driveline.
