It can. SOS Performance makes a rear disc conversion.

You can swap the front brakes that are bigger too if you're running 17" wheels.

 

I was lost at that point. I was surprised that there's a Roy Rogers out there, so thats what I ate.

Yes... SOS makes a big brake kit that fits 16s. The OE 4Runner brakes only fit with 17"+ wheels, but OE 17" Tacoma wheels will require spacers.

Yeah. Probably wouldn't do it again if I had a choice.

 

It kind of is. I only bought the backing plate kit from and sourced everything else on my own. I saved a few hundred doing it that way.

 

Yeah even that is expensive. Looks really nice though. I've been eyeballing it for a while though it's just not even close to a priority.

Soooo, I cooked my family dinner and may have used 3 year expired jalapenos in it (tasted fine.) Planning on having a nice internal exorcism a bit later.

 

jalapenos are good for the soul. But Serrano and Habenero are betta

 

Personally I wouldn’t be too worried about welding them with the Lcas still on so long as you bounce around between all 4 corners. It’d probably take about the same about of time as just removing the lca though and no risk of bushing cooking.
