Yeah I have no idea. Like I mentioned above, all I can say is to return it to me and I can send you another one to replace it. I have no problem doing that. It just doesn’t make any sense to me at all and I’m totally confused at how that could be possibly. I’ve never hear of this. The wire looms I get are packaged at 14ft themselves and then I cut the wires 2ft longer than that. I could see hearing maybe your Harness being 15ft and that making sense to me, but to hear it’s 13ft, I just don’t have any answer for you. I’m sorry. Feel free to return it and I can send out a replacement once I receive it.

 

All kits have been completed and are sitting in my house right now. Looking to have every single on of them out the door prior to me exiting the house on Friday

 

I made the second one myself. I only had the one. When I first started this project I thought it would be nice to just have the wires go straight rather than do that route and bend so I decided to remove my tailgate and just drill a circle right in front of where the cables enter into the Tailgate. Seems simple enough, right. Then I wuss going to use a circle Black Grommet. Well, my OCD Kicked in and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool to just mimic the same OEM look and just make it look the same. So that’s what I did and I absolutely love it.

 

Nice. I like the OEM look. Will your harness squeeze in through that hole with the stock one? I won't be able to make a nice looking stock hole like that.

 

I thought you sent me a PM and I replied regarding this matter. Did you happen to send it to both places? Did you not receive the PM I sent or just wanted to send it to both locations?

The COMPLETE FULL PACKAGE does come with everything included for the $95. This package must just have gotten missed with the Bracket & Rod. No Biggie. Easy Fix just to send that out to you, which is what I sent on the PM. Sorry about that.

The FULL KIT does not come with everything included for the $65. That’s where the difference is with the two packages. The picture you have above is the FULL KIT.

 

It’s only been two days! I do see the orders go through and I do see the posts and PMs. I just can’t respond to them all, so I save them for a time that I can just sit down all at once and just hash them all out. I try to make updates on the forums so that people know I’m here and active so they don’t freak out. As long as you send in all your information like I request, you will get it. I promise.

 

Yes. It does. I squeezed it in through the Tailgate side one. I will take a picture probably when I return from my trip on the 30th. I don’t think I have one on my phone. I’ll look for you tho.

Ok I’m having a bit of a stupid moment. Have everything installed, actuator is working and locking/unlocking the tailgate. But I didn’t see anything in the instructions or first 20 or last 20 pages regarding these parts (probably scrolled right past it). Is the bracket, rod and hardware I have pictured just for an alternative way of mounting the actuator in the tailgate or did I miss something?

 

You are correct. They are not needed for your install.

Got mine installed today. Could not wait for the Mobtown tailgate plate! Works great. Cable just long enough for long bed taco. Thanks for this mod @KTJO 4x4

 

I have the same situation as purchasing kit before bracket had been released. Did you measure harness before you added wire extension? My harness measured at 15'9", so not sure if should add wire extension prior to install. What gauge wire did you use? -Thanks

This picture shows how I swapped the OEM Wire Harness with the New Integrated Wire Harness. This was taken when I was just going to insert a circular Black Grommet and call it good, but then I decided to open up the hole even more and make it Factory looking and match the other Plug on the other side. Anyhow, there you go!
