    I try not to bounce around on obstacles too much. I'd be willing to bet my bent axle was a direct result of air between the tire and the ground. :D

    Weight is an issue for sure. But not a lot of ways around it when you're on a 2 week trip in the middle of no where.

    But that's a good point. I know I've made an effort to trim up but still..has saved our ass more than once having spare parts and tools.

    I'm low geared enough I don't have to bump anything really. If it kills the truck. I just lock the rear and am fine ha

    Scored some color matched buckets from a local member parting out a truck. Gotta admit I was kind of skeptical of how well they'd clean up when I first saw them but I decided to take the chance. Glad I did! The passenger seat looks immaculate, and the driver seat has some thinning fabric but otherwise cleaned up just as good as the passenger seat. I spent maybe 3 hours cleaning them with stuff I bought at autozone. I put my sewing skills to the test to fix a small rip on the drivers seat, me thinks it should hold long enough for me to save for some wet okole seat covers.

    20190622_142900.jpg installed some JBA arms and rotated my coilovers to reach the valve. Time to clean everything up. Any suggestions on what psi i should be running these Camburg 2.5s at???

    Somewhere between 150-200 psi. I'm sure Camburg states somewhere the exact number.

    I need a lesson in basic wrenching, because I cannot break free the bolts on my drive shaft. They're 14mm bolts, they shouldn't require this much force to turn. I tried spraying PB Blaster on them, but it helped not at all. The one with the lock washer was very easy to loosen, but the others are tight as hell. I was starting the deform the nut even using a socket. The four bolts on the back end of the shaft are all immovable. My Bro-in-law says I should go rent an impact wrench.

    My current technique is 14mm socket on the nut, and a 17mm box end as a hold back on the other side, so as not to torque the gearbox.

    They're tight. I used a 14mm box end wrench linked to a 17mm wrench to make one long wrench. Kinda sketchy but it worked. Its the reason I asked for a set of extended length wrenches for Christmas last year.

    Hehe thanks for the laugh, I need it right now! The weird thing is, the two on the transfer case side with lock washers were basically hand tight and required zero force to move. I did have my transmission rebuilt by the dealership 7 years ago... I bet they forgot to tighten those two.

    If all fails take a grinder and cut them off, but OEM bolts and nuts per set are like 10.00.

    I ended cutting mine off

    I couldn’t get mine off to save my life.

    if you're gonna be doing your own work regularly invest in an impact, trust me its a good investment. Then go to harbor freight and get a set of metric impact sockets.

    Yeah those are on there real good. I use my big beefy 1/2 pneumatic impact to get those off when I'm working on the driveline.
