You really shouldn't have any blind spot at all with properly adjusted mirrors. People typically adjust their rear view and side view mirrors with a TON of overlap.

That's simply not necessary. Or correct.

Took me a couple months to get used to it. Didn't like it at first. At all. Now I can't imagine being without!

And yet you felt the need to buy convex mirrors too? o_O

Before I bought my 2019 SR5, I test drove a leftover 2018 SR5 that the dealer had. It had blind spot mirrors. Didn't think much about it at the time. So I assume the mirrors are an option,. I'd ask for the part numbers for those before ordering Rav 4 mirrors. (Which MAY be the same.) :notsure:

I have tried the Sienna's version of the convex mirror, and dislike it...
If my mirrors is set to cover my blindspots, as if there were no mini mirror, then the convex mirror shows nothing really useful.
For my Tacoma, I got a 2" Circle Convex stickon mirror, and have been thoroughly satisfied with it.
So much easier to park when I can also see where my tires are.
Would be nice if we could get Lexus's autotilt mirrors during reverse.

Excellent tip on the rav4 mirrors I never knew that. It looks much better being oem than the stick on mirrors. What’s the cost for a set of them?

Anyone else using these? Do they start to get cloudy/hazy after some age? It’s almost time to replace the ones I currently have.

Because sometimes you want to see down and out. Those fancy BSM's don't detect/see baby geese, unlike my cheap dot mirrors.

I started using the round stick-on blind spot mirrors on a work van I drove every day. It didn't have any back side windows. I got so used to those I put them on my own vehicles. When I got my Tacoma I adjusted my mirrors as suggested, but just couldn't get used to not having those little mirrors. I did find some at O'Reilly's that don't have bezels and look better. This old dog can't learn new tricks I guess.

Haha. Word. But yes. And I love the mirrors. They make it so you don't have to adjust the side mirrors out quite so far to eliminate the blind spot.

Mine went on day one too.

Was visiting my folks in Ohio, and was bringing my dad's Tundra back to FL for him. Told him...you got no blind spot mirrors, he said I don't need them. Bought the same kind and put on his truck for the trip. Later he told me he didn't know how he got by without them.

I went this route. Rather than try to focus and have to interpret what I see in a tiny mirror, I added one.

This bolts on under the stock mirror and gives me a much larger visual target.

Ugly? Maybe, but so am I. I found this at Tractor Supply, but Amazon has something similar. I paid $12-13 each.

I mounted these on the bottom of the stock mirrors, so they are upside down compared to this view.

Has anyone seen the passenger side mirror glass without the "objects in mirror....." wording on them?

I havent figured out these Blind spot mirrors yet. I have a set on my M3 from previous owner and I just CANT tell what they do?? I see the same thing in my mirror as I see in the tiny little convex mirrors, except in better Magnification.
It reminds me of Jay Leno’s issue with sunglasses. I just want to see what it actually looks like in my mirrors. Haha.

    Good luck!
