MESO Puddle Light build

Yeah I realized when I was going to put the boot back on

 

I only broke one tab on mine, but I just spent 5 days offroading in Oregon and hit plenty of washboards, rocky terrain, bad roads, forest service roads at higher speeds, etc. It didn't move at all.

 

I was cleaning up some of my puddle light wiring and came across the large connector under the driver side dash near the center console. It was making noise on bumps, etc... I attached it to a screw to fix it in place and zip tied all my cables. Just curious what this is for. I have a 2017 TRD OR DCLB without P&T.

 

It's a relay, what for is another can of worms entirely

 

Might be for my aftermarket heated seats (Clazzio).

Dish soap really made things super easy pulling the cable through the door boot. There is a YouTube video that helped a bit with which steps to do first. So stoked

 

I think they're borderline too bright for camping, especially with the ultimate 3rd brake light

 

You shut your mouth about these with the third gen break light

 

You just wait till I have a hex 9 set up

Don’t tempt me! I love the look of the kc5, like a lot. I have a feeling these hex 9’s will blow people’s brains up..... that’s what I’m going for

Are they wired with lights already?

 

After 4 long hours but Worth it. Oh and if you don’t want to cut your mirror, you can Dremel the pod housing plastic piece at your own risk. Here are some pictures

 

Yeah they're wired w a plug. 3 red, 2 diffused white. I'll sell it to ya for 6,000$. Rare ya know?

He probably meant pesos... I think that’s around $30...
Note, he didn’t do the blackout mod and he’s probably not including the other connector for your truck... so, deduct $1000 pesos for that. I’m guessing he’ll take $25

Meh, at least it’s properly anchored and not rattling around anymore. They can hear my farts clearly now.
