Had these for about 6 months- finally got them installed. Avs matte black low profile. Of course my ocd took over so I clayed the windows, removed the water spots and a quick ceramic spray coating before I could install. Now I really need to do the cap windows and windshield… Big difference

 

Good picture...the lighting gives the impression that your truck is maroon metallic.

 

Finally got around to installing the @KTJO 4x4 pop n lock kit I’ve had in my mod pile and a train horn kit today...can’t say enough about the pop n lock...thx ktjo and the horn is stupid loud...tapped power off of the stock horns and left them connected as well for extra loudness...just had to switch the horn fuse from a 10 to a 20 to make it all work...feeling good..next is cleaning up the rats nest of wires under the hood with my PowerTray and blue seas fuse box..that’s for another day though!

 

Did you do the centre console wrap as well?

 

Installed Bay Area Metal Fab bumper reinforcement brackets. The ones that came with this bumper would require a mod of the resi bracket or relocation of the resi. These are 100% beef and require none of that.

Where did you get metal letters?

 

Just got in my MBRP 3 inch cat back exhaust. Sounds phenomenal even for the v6.

 

Could of easily called it chameleon

 

Truth...bet you didn’t even realize when you posted that you showed the community what the taco would look like in a color option not available to us without custom paint

 

I love mine...did you get polished or black

 

Took no more than an hour once I got all the parts together. Maybe $40 in total.

 

are you putting all that (jetseal, wax, and v07) on top of the ceramic?

 

defeats the purpose of a ceramic though. Eliminates the self cleaning property which comes from the extreme hydrophobicity of the ceramic.

 

Visited Anchorage a couple years back. I remember coming out of the movie theater at about 1 am our first night there and it was light as day. So bizarre.

Which horn kit did you use?

 

New shoes finally Toyo A/T II. Very happy

 

15 miles on her and enough was enough, the chrome surround had to go. I’ve never used Plastidip before, and I’m not sure about the textured look just yet. I might get the SR5 black surround if I decide against it, but either way, it’s better then the chrome.
