Is there a write up on this somewhere? Parts? Cost? I have the 09 base model, no power locks, windows, or anything.

A $4 door key copy taped to a strategic area on my truck. The after market alarm hates it but saved me money so far.

Yeah I only did it because I wanted my TPMS sensor light gone and the front "Glass" was all scraped up and I figured I'd replace it all while it was out.

Dude that is the coolest cockpit I've seen yet! Did you do the write up method that is on TW or did you just master it on your own

A little bit of both. I learned how to do soldering in college (engineering degree). I saw a youtube video that showed how to do take the cluster apart. One of the things I did differently was I bought a new inlay for the cluster on Carid.com. I got the blue Daytona 500 inlay and threw the old black one out.

When I did the AC controls, I followed the write up on here with a few differences. After I cut the seams on the grey circles I used a heat gun to soften the glue holding them on. That worked but it also slightly warped the plastic. I decided to keep going. I used acetone to remove the amber paint. I could not get the center circle off so I left it as is (the only amber thing in it says "temp"). When I put the warped circles back on I used e6000 industrial glue. I used my heat gun to heat the plastic back up and pushed it back into place. I had a nice blister on my right hand from doing it too.

The clock was a little different. It has 4 contacts instead of 2. It is common anode and I had to buy a smaller tip for my soldering iron to do it because the contacts are so tiny.

The shifter and lighting under the dash and seats I ordered from Amazon. I also put lights in the doors and under the AC controls (to illuminate my cup holders and lower center console).
