A week and half ago I was cruising up the good old Garden State Parkway. Some jackass in front of me ran over a retread that must of fallen off of an 18 wheeler and it got my grill. ( I have been too busy with the new baby to post pics until now). Any suggestion to fix it I am thinking of getting a black billet grill any thoughts?

Damn dude, that would piss me off too. on the bright side now you have a good excuse to upgrade your grille....:) Definately go black. I personally like mesh much better than billet but on an X-runner i think the billet might actually look better, its more of a street look. i guess its all up to you. Let us know what you do and post some pics. Sorry to hear about your grille. fortunately thats the only thing that got F'ed up

Maybe you could use some wire and duct tape it fixes everything

Thanks man, I think I am going to go with a billet. I like the look of the mess grill but I am too damn cheap to fork over the cash for it.

I'm going mesh whenever i upgrade my grille, but i think on the x-runner the billet will actually look better. it's a street truck and in my opinion billet is a street look. Sorry your grille got trashed but at least you're trucks gonna look a little more badass as a result :)

I went with Grillecraft black mesh. I think it would look good on yours. it's easy to install, but i have not done the lower one yet because the front bumper has to come off.
