Good morning all. I did the right thing and stayed home last night. Today will be productive! Supposed to rain all day.

 

Was nice day. Had fun. Could have been a lil bit warmer but was still good. When you heading home?

I'm pretty much the same way now. Occasionally I'll let loose but that's much more rare these days. Good taste in drinks!

 

Sometimes it’s good to be responsible, right?

 

I wish my son felt the same on that. He thinks his job/life should have no responsibilities.

 

Everyone thought we were hard asses when our kids were growing up. They started getting put on the chore chart at 3 years old. Age appropriate of course. They had to help out right up until they moved out.

 

Work hard = ability to play hard. Gotta draw the line at times that's being an adult. Growing up isn't the worst but to enjoy have bring in the money to be able to enjoy.

 

I try, but most of the times it's just easier, faster and done right the first time if we just take care of it.

 

I know!! LOL. When they got older, I taught them how to clean (which translates into how I wanted it done) from then on was smooth sailing.

I’m just glad both step kids have finished college and are out on their own

 

I take it they didn’t do chores?

 

Not like I was raised but they were always gone to the “other side”.

Well my basement is flooded as hell again. Tired of this weather. Now I'll be in cleaning mode once this rain stops. Apparently this is a 2 week cycle for my basement. Dammit !!!

 

Pump?

 

Nah to much rain, pumps working fine. If the landlord cared he'd redo the gutters on this place. I cleaned the back a month ago or so and doubt they've been touched prior to for at least 10 years.

 

If I was your landlord, I was raise your rent.
