MESO Total Tail Light Kit

May have a new stage 1 kit I’d let go of..can’t decide if I wanna keep It for my spare set of tails but that’s borderline hoarding I suppose

 

I’m looking for stage 2.

 

If you’re getting rid of em I’ll take em! I’ve got a set for mine but my dad has a taco too and wants a set.

New Stage 1 prototype switchback bulbs are in and look sweet. This is going to cut down my assembly time and boost production so everyone can have a taste of the total tail kit!
It shares the same plug as the stage 2 triton V6’s. This way I only need to make 1 vehicle harness and you can pick between the stages.


Also...those with a keen eye may notice the chip config has changed to favor amber LEDs. Reverse output will be similar to the original stage 1 switchbacks, but the turn will be brighter(safety was the priority)

 

Meso, are the bulbs available separately?

 

My guess - initially, no. He will be fulfilling orders for new Stage One orders.
Down the line - he will likely start selling replacement kits for prior purchasers who want to “upgrade”. Then lastly - open to selling sets. If this is you, hold your breath... it will be a while.

 

You must work for CNN lol.

 

The only problem I have with Meso is:

He can’t keep his products in stock long enough :*(

He’s making me broke when I get my hands on a product he puts out

For reals - real stand up guy and one of the best stand up business man ever on this page!His ingenuity is amazing and he takes care if his customers. This last father’s day- took my son fishing and camping for the first time and was not going to be in town to get his minimalist key fob for 1/2 off. He still hooked it up and I got to make memories and got the fob for his promotional price.

 

@MESO so how is this bulb going to work with the people that already have the stage 1 kits ?

For people that have the original stage 1 bulb, and want to switch to the new one.. I will offer the TYCO->VLED adapter which looks like this.



The new harnesses will not have a TYCO connector, instead will go straight to the small round connector.

Yes I will. Priority will be complete tail light kits, but after those are made I will offer the bulbs themselves. If you are doing a DIY, or some other type or retrofit you will also need the other end of the connecotr with wire leads

 

Any idea when you will have more stage 1’s ready?

 

Been running a DIY for quite a while. Pulled off the harness recently to modify for the topper brake light. Unhappy with the brightness of the Amber in my current setup and have been working with different bulbs to find an answer.

Would purchase one of yours after it came off the production line!

 

Installed stage 1 today. Guess they just look okay, don't know what the hype is all about...

 

How did you get the upgraded bulb already. Thought he said they weren’t out yet. I love how the new bulbs show the light better. They look just as good as his $700 retros. Feel sorry for those that paid that price. Good thing I didn’t do that. Thanks for helping me save some money. Looks good.

 

Another nice Meso upgrade!

I’ve switched out my Four Stage 1 tails with the VLED 50 Reds and like the results so will probably upgrade to these new switchbacks

 

I thought Meso's LED Taillights came with the stage 2 VLED switchbacks?
