Those use to be used to mount the Actuator into the Tailgate but now the BNL has replaced it to make it a far better Kit. I just include the hardware still just in case my customers would like to use it for other projects or in some other way later on.

If that is the length of your Harness you shouldn’t need any extension and the gauge wire is 18

The individuals that did receive a tracking number I checked with the post office and they misplaced them and promised me that they will be out first thing Monday. I was like wth. How does that even happen. The ones that haven’t, I have left everything with my sister and she is actually going to be sending them out I believe for me on Monday. They are complete.

I installed yesterday. It went pretty smoothly. I did have one of the bullet connectors fall off and I didn't have any extras around. It might be a good idea to include an extra set of connectors. As far as routing, I just followed the backup camera wire out the gate and under the chassis (drilled an extra hole in each grommet) and there was plenty of wire. I did not sound proof, but it isn't too loud at all, to me.

Did you recriminations before your install? I’m actually not worried about this being an issue in the future as this isn’t going to happen because this has been handled with the kits that will be getting shipped out in this new batch, but I’m hoping that people are recrimping since I have asked them to do so and not trying to take them straight from the bag and either pulling on them or installing them and then making the claims they fell off. Also, if they fell off straight out of the bag from delivery, just put them back on and recrimp. I’ve only had maybe 10% not be able to go back on. Not saying that I’m justifying this by any means. However, so many people have been able to just put them back on and recrimp and go on with the install so it’s been handled by many. Like I said, I do not foresee this happening to anymore as it’s been dealt with, but I do hope that you did recrimp before you install like it was suggested in many post on this thread.

I’m glad you had plenty of wire and that you don’t find it to be that loud. I ran mine for a long time before I did my sound proofing. I only added mine because I didn’t want to throw the product away and I didn’t have anywhere else to put it once I finished my Cab. That’s the only reason it’s in my tailgate. I wanted to see what everyone was talking about and if it really made a big difference. I’m sure you are glad your install is done now :) Good Job!!

It fell off before I installed it and I assume after I pulled it out of the bag. I never found the connector. I did re-crimp all the others, but this happened before I did that. Thank you. Nice kit.

Finally got around to installing this. Definitely the way it should have came from the factory considering it’s literally the only thing that requires the key.

Installed mine the other day. The picture in this post of where to get the wire loom through the tail gate and under the bed as well as @KTJO 4x4 tip of loosening the little silver T15 screw definitely helped a lot.

I didn't, but I'm not too concerned with it sliding off. It would need to bend quite a bit before it could, but time will tell.

Ok so did these go out on Monday? Again no tracking and no PM. I paid on June 3rd, it’s now the 25th.

So this is awesome, but I just installed a plain Pop-N-Lock like two weeks ago. Can I simply add a 2nd actuator to open the tailgate after unlocking or would you think I need the whole kit?

I believe she is on vacation.
I know I would not come to work on my vacation.

I doubt her sister she left in charge of dropping the items off at the Post office would have access and knowledge to come on here and post or have access to your email address to send you tracking info.

I paid on the 2nd, but did get a tracking #. Looks like the post office finally shipped them Tuesday afternoon, expecting to get it late tomorrow (Thursday) per the USPS website.
