    I was watching monster trucks on YouTube last night and saw they have DS cages. Made me wanna look into a traction bar that also acts like a DS skid, similar to stairgod.

    My work for today was to get my new winch in. My current one sounded like death so I contacted smittybilt and they sent me a new one under warranty.

    I got the new one in, but reused my old solenoid cover so I could retain my in cab winch controls. I will take my old solenoid and carry it as a trail spare because why not?

    So out of curiosity, I disassembled my winch to see what went wrong. I’ve opened it twice now to regrease it so I know what it should look like. Much to my surprise, everything appeared fine. I reassembled it and tested it, and it went back to sounding normal :der: so now I’ll just keep it as a back up winch I guess.

    Also did a few little odds and ends like touched up my front bumper, and loosened, moved around my alignment cams, and tightened it back up. This was to test if they were seized, as well as unload the rubber bushings. I’ve been getting this horrible pop/squeak noise from up front and I’m fairly certain that took care of it. They seemed to be over tightened from my last alignment.

    I travel for work a lot and I started collecting challenge coins for every installation that I visit. The top 4 are not military coins. One is from a buddy that owns a knife company, one is from Yellowstone, one is from VP Biden, and the last is from Camp David. Figured some other guys in here might have a collection also.
