My knee keeps banging up against the panel where the power window controls are located. I don't recall ever having this problem in my 2003. Wondering if a later model 1st gen will fit a 1997 sr5 with power windows. Or, maybe there's a way to customize it and still keep the power windows.

I have 2004 Double Cab door panels in my 1998. I retrofitted power doors into my truck.

The speaker sizes are different so you’ll have to trim the speaker shroud on the door panel. Otherwise it’ll fit.

There are no provisions for the courtesy light, however. As well as the tweeter on the 2001-2004 panel.

The colors will be slightly different.

No. I installed newer panels because I converted from crank windows, manual locks and mirrors to all powered. The only parts truck I could find locally was a 2004 Double Cab Limited, so I used 2004 wiring harnesses, mirrors, actuators, motors, and switches.
