Car Solution and camera in use for four months - each continues to work as designed. As a recommendation, I would ensure you did not power/connect the camera so it is "always on," and burns out prematurely.

 

The problem was in Natika camera. All connection were fine, contacted Amazon support, explained the situation and returned natika and bough another one. Works fine again!

 

Anyone install a front camera with the trd off road grill?

 

I installed the square shaped Natika like this. Used a piece of metal on the back. I used the two stock screw locations that the camera has on the back. Bent the sides over to hold it into the grill. Then I melted some black hot glue in the void at the top. It's very solidly attached and gives me the angle I wanted. Use it to make parking a breeze. I hated trying to park in some spots not being able to tell how much room I had.
BTW you may be able to use/modify the bracket that comes with the Natika - I didn't try - just crossed my mind




That's a piece of that metal/galvanized (plumber) stuff that comes in a roll.

Installed my camera the other day. I decided to install it under the front bumper since I didn’t want to cut into my @customcargrills mesh grill.

I have that same camera so the black wire at the camera end doesn’t get connected to anything

This is how I connected mine. Test if everything is working okay before crimping and sealing any heat shrink or cutting the wire that is not needed. Hope this helps.

*Just a quick heads up - may not be very obvious.

The wires circled in green have to be isolated otherwise you will create a short. The black wire is common ground in the circuit and the red is common hot.
