Mob Town Tailgate reinforcement plate and cap

Well used tailgate reinforcement plate and cap. Some surface rust due to use (it's a truck, it happens).

Originally $159 + $99. No longer in production. Current model is all in one, but back ordered and going for $229. I'd be happy with $200. It's negotiable, but not willing to ship (cause this shit is heavy!). Uses existing tailgate fasteners but I have some stainless ones that replace the two that are not exposed with factory skin but required for this kit.

Not a 100 percent sure but I believe the rules state that you must have a picture in the listing.

Does this affect the assisted tailgate function?

 

Sorry I missed your post. I'm not sure what the assisted tailgate function is. My truck is an SR so I only have the most basic functions.

If you're referring to the dampened tailgate opening, then yes, this makes it open pretty quickly.

I originally got this because I didn't trust the OEM tailgate to support a motorcycle. For that it does really well.
