LS500 cylinder head is completely different unfortunately.
You could likely Frankenstein an engine together but at the end of the day it's not worth it

I am glad I stirred the pot just a little after all the other drama. I like to see this thread popping while looking at updates and what other people are talking about.

Ok so I have some “solid” rumors about FI for the 3.5

I just spoke to ace auto care to have some custom work done on my URD spec u system and down pipes, he said I might be able to fit you in I’m supposed to be working on gadgets 2016 he’s getting a shop near us to fot his supercharger.. I said ExCUSE ME!!! Yes we are doing the exhaust work for it.. oh not sure I’m supposed to let the cat out the bag.. I’m going to have the work done on Tuesday so I’ll quiz them for more info

Well I'd sure hope they'd have made some progress on the 3.5 since they released a supercharger for the 2.7 forever ago. They'd told me they were in R&D for the 3.5 but that was so damn long ago... Lol

When you have 100 employees, you have a different level of liability as well as operate on an entirely different plane with CARB and EPA than smaller one man operations.

This isnt a easy game they're all playing. Rushing tunes/kits out kills motors. Killing motors kills businesses.

Didn't hear about that. Wouldn't be surprised though. After all, it's probably safe to say that Magnuson has given up too. I laugh whenever I see them tease anything for the 3.5, everyone with a small bit of intelligence can see that they're never releasing anything unless they can partner with @OVTune in a manner that isn't 100% selfish.

I wonder if condensation forming in the intercooler then getting sucked in the engine will be an issue.

Unlikely that they have given up. They just don't want to work with anyone.

In lieu of starting a new thread for something unofficial at this point, has anyone seen OVTune's latest facebook post about a (what appears to be) 3.5l centrifugal s/c in the works? If we get some more substance to this, maybe we can start another thread specific to the centrifugal setup. Apparently both are actively in the works. It's great to see development moving ahead at full steam :burnrubber:

There are other posts of a super charger on an IS350 in his feed. Would be a fine choice IMHO to run a centrifugal sc on the taco over a turbo. Easier to fit and less heat. Certainly does resemble a 2gr-fks from the pic. You can just see the ps resivoir and coolant surge tank.
