There are a few other things that should be added to the lists.....

Zero effort to explain the villain and the villains motives, and why the villain may actually be the righteous hero.

TW member types 3 and 6 comprise of all of the people on my ignore list. (You forgot #6, the one who has proclaimed himself moderator of the BST section. This guy will reply to your BST post within about 30 seconds of your posting with something like, "hey, you need 50+ posts to post this item for sale." Or, "you need to attach pictures of your item! I really just dont want to see anyone get banned". This guy will also tag a real moderator in the same exact post, just to make sure you get a 3 day BST violation ban.) I suspect he's also about 40 and living in his mom's basement.. The more I think about it, the more I think #3 and #6 are the same guy

 

3b. - The derailleur, a subclass of the useless asshat.
- The derailleur, having judged that a thread has served its usefulness (whether or not it actually has), shitposts an off topic joke or image in the name of shinanigans.
The only person who finds the derailleur's jokes funny is the derailleur himself. Others sometimes play along in the hopes that one shitty joke will set up the shitty joke that they would like to post in turn. A group of three or more derailleurs in the same thread is sometimes called a "dumpster fire."

I’ll help you out a little here



1. Bigger tires are going to rub without a lift, no matter how many times you ask.
Actually you can go bigger without rubbing or a lift. Go check out the 3k threads that have some relation to the topic

2. Cold Air Intakes add no power.
This isn’t true either. While it won’t add 50HP, there are gains. It’s hard to really feel a ~5-7hp difference.

5. Aftermarket exhausts, they sound terrible. While I personally wouldn’t spend the money on an exhaust on a Tacoma, what I may think sounds good, you think sounds good, and someone else could all be completely different. There are plenty of guys here happy with the money they spent on their exhausts.

6. There is no supercharger available for the 3.5 and likely never will be. Magnuson has already leaked a teaser recently, if I remember correctly. They have been working on it for quite some time.


8. You need bed stiffeners. The average guy here on the forum isn’t bajaing his truck off-road. Unless that’s you, No, you don’t need them.

10. Your completely stock truck + OV Tune is the fastest it will ever be and gets the best MPG it ever will. As soon as you add bigger tires and weight from accessories, performance and MPG will suffer. There is no way around this. Gearing may help a little but you can't have your cake and eat it too where performance and MPG are concerned. OV is working on a Turbo. When that’s out the truck will be a lot “faster” if you have the money to buy the kit. Also a supercharger when released from Magnuson will be a lot “faster” than just the OV Tune.
