I’m curious what the second dealership said?

Same damn thing, because it’s not Pro they consider it lifted because it’s higher than stock. The only thing they would offer is to do the recall but I would have to sign a waiver basically saying they would shut off Toyota safety sense and I would always have a warning light on. They also wouldn’t replace my super noisy visor because of the suspension and considered it outside influence. The first dealer didn’t even offer to do the recall they simply just said they wouldn’t do it.

That’s crazy, the dealership near me in Washington installs aftermarket suspension on brand new trucks.

When I took my truck to the dealership they made me sign a form before they did the recall because I have bigger tires and a level done.

The shocks are almost $1500 brand new. I’m trying to get $1,000 plus shipping. I’m figuring $100-$130 shipped. Also willing to not include the springs if anyone already has a set of their own they want to use. It would also bring shipping down quite a bit.

might be interested in these. Are they the 2 inch lift kit or the leveling kit?

Falcon only makes one front shock for all the different kits which is 0-2.25 inches of lift depending on what notch you have it on. They make 3 different rear shocks. One is non adjustable stock length, one is adjustable but stock length, one is adjustable and extended length which is sold with the rear spacer block. I used mine with a 1.5 inch add a leaf with no problems. The kit they sell with the rear block doesn’t net any extra travel, all they are doing is making a longer shock because the block spacer pushes the lower shock mount further from the shock mount on the frame.

Don’t mean to distract from the selling of your shocks, but I just purchased the same set up - hence my curiosity in your dilemma with your local dealership. Which 1.5 inch add a leaf did you go with?

If you read some of the previous posts I did change dealers. The problem is one usually has more luck with the dealer they purchased the vehicle from. I’ve actually gone to 3 different dealers to date. They all are able to pull up my recent visits and know exactly why I’m there. All 3 dealers have different owners and they all basically told me the same thing. If you have anything useful to say please do so without hesitation.

I went with the 1.5 inch icon progressive add a leaf. Netted me exactly 1.5 inches.

Question, the pic of your springs has a red and green dot on them. Is that for the drives side or dose it matter?

They both have a red and green dot, you just can’t see in the pic because the coil is rotated. Doesn’t matter what side they go on.

The dealership in Huntington beach does what he is saying above. Maybe they might not have the same attitude as the ones you have visited.

If I had a 1000 I'd come see you today but I have a trip coming up and have to save $.

Maybe when I get the funds In a month I'll try back see if there gone. But I'm sure they will be.

    Good luck

Thanks for the tip about the that dealer. Stay away from the Ontario, Riverside and Corona dealers if you have a lift and want warranty work done.
