Thoughts on the heavier coils for ICON...
Mine came with the standard 650lb, not sure of the length.
With the addition of the winch, and the heavier over load rear springs, the rear sits a little higher.
With the camper, the rear is still about an inch higher, which is fine, but id like it to sit level.
Today, i adjusted the coils 3 turns on both sides , which gained just shy of a half inchof front lift.
Max distance from the top hat to the collar is 2 1/2". They were at 2", now at 2 1/4" after todays adjustment.
Would i better off with the 700lb coils?
I assume this would allow much less preload, and of course give more range of adjustment if needed.

Huge thanks to @CO MTN Steve and @Coop68 today for the extra hands!
Started out as a plan to just install the new leafs and do the rear bumper the next weekend, but I couldn't shake that itch after the leaf spring were on. Kept looking at those bedsides and wanting to start cutting...so I did :sawzall:

Looking good man. I’m very particular and have been looking for a HC/dual swing with double sheer mounts as opposed to a spindle/bearing mount. Might have to make a phone call now.

Thanks! Yeah I'm pretty happy with it. Joe was great to work with and shipped right on time at 12 weeks.

And so it begins. Rears are on backorder but expected to ship on Tuesday. Looking forward to a mild lift on the 4Runner. The 6112s are preassembled for a 2” lift. I’m hopeful to have the 5160s by next Friday to install next weekend, but guessing I’ll have to wait an extra week. Not as cool as Kings, Icons, or Fox, but I’m not cool enough for them either.

The only debate left is between 275 and 285s. With only 2” of lift not sure how much massaging I’d need to mount 285s without rubbing.

    What haven’t I changed?
I like that they already have extra preload dialed in for the driver side

The 5160's have been on back order since the first of the year - it is the driver side rear that is on back order (it has a brake line height adjuster kit that mounts where the oem brake line is fastened on the rear axel). FYI - the left and right 5160's for the Tacoma are identical (except one says left and the other says right). I called Bilstein service to confirm this (and Headstrong) and Bilstein told me to just go to the auto parts store and get a brake line adjuster kit, which I did. I ordered two 5160's from 4WheelParts, got them within three days and the rest is history. GL with the wait as I was told by Bilstein in February that they would be shipped in May. But they did not say which year, so maybe 2020 ? Got my 6112's from Race Consultants - cheaper than our TW vendors too.

I ordered mine from 4WP, and was told they would have them and ship them out on the 25th. Not sure if there’s a similar backlog for the 4Runner vs Taco, but I guess I’ll find out.

Hmm so I just need to relocate the rear driver breakline with a kit if I order 2 rear passengers? That makes a lot of sense.

Alright this turbine/input speed sensor issue on my 2011 sequoia is kicking my butt. Getting code P0717 Turbine/input Shaft speed sensor A Circuit No Signal. Ordered a new sensor from napa but it didnt fit, the mounting hole was in the wrong spot. Tested the resistance on what I thought was a bad sensor but it tested the same as the new one. Dash lights are on most of the time but turn off randomly then turn back on anywhere between a couple miles and a couple days. Tested the wires for voltage and I cant get a reading. So now I am leaning towards cut wires. I tested for a short and there is no short. Here is what I believe is the right area of the wiring diagram for a toyota tundra. Should be the same for a Sequoia. I have no clue how to read the wiring diagram so all help is appreciated. Real question is where is the other end of the sensor wire located.
    Thanks

yep. absolutely no difference in the left and right shock. only the kit to raise the oem connection of the brake line on the axel.

The reservoir mounting bracket to the truck is the exact same for both sides too? Or did you clamp it to the shock body?
