I honestly don’t know much about them man. If they make a difference, probably not much in the grand scheme of things if you’re doing everything else right to the best of your ability.

I’m also on cocktails as we’ve been calling them lol, so BCAAs are like a drop in a bucket full of water at that point aha when enhanced.

I’ll be on full thyroid replacement costing me thousands a year soon enough. I’ll save the cocktails for then haha.

PackCon, you don’t know the POWER of the dark side...

(Cue Sith voice) lol. God I’m a weirdo sometimes aha.

In all honesty man, if you’re natural and wanting the best edge I’d simply try to buy the highest quality food I could afford. Like grass fed meats and wild caught fish. I eat 12oz of grass fed beef per day and man does my body just LOVE it.

I actually do. My sister raises steers (grain finished), pigs, and chickens so I eat those. I also hunt and eat venison regularly throughout the year.

The only thing I cannot get around is wild salmon, that shit is nasty.

The way I see supplements and anything else gym related is similar to a puzzle. Each supplement, specific shoe for (say squats or running), food, vitamins, creatine, steroids, EAA (not a fan of BCAA), tanning (yes), shaving your body (also yes) ... these are pieces of the puzzle... Without all the pieces of the puzzle, it will never be complete. Missing just ONE piece will result in a incomplete puzzle.

However, a puzzle missing 19 out of 25 pieces will look alot shittier than a puzzle missing 2 of 25. Some aren't willing to complete the puzzle, and that's fine. This lifestyle is so great because it is 100% a CHOICE. Everything, is a choice. You choose to tan, use steroids, whey protein, HIIT, light weights - volume, etc... It's wonderful you are within 100% control of yourself.

    Anyway, that's my sunday puzzle.

I agree - it really is a puzzle.

But creatine, whey protein, bcaa, etc (anything you can buy at GNC) to me is absolute dog shit I’d never even spend money on it other than maybe specific vitamins if my diet was lacking something.

IMO, ditching them did nothing but help my body.

I like BCAA's, they really help with soreness.

Joe Rogans episode with Ed Calderon was great, a great insight into the cartel issue in Mexico.
