What about southeast AZ? I grew up in Sierra Vista. Generally cooler; access to lesser-known outdoor areas; close enough to Tucson for work; low cost of living. On the other hand, I haven't lived there in a long time so I could be way off.

I live just south of Peoria. Housing is sky rocketing and has been since he moved here almost seven years ago. We sometimes want to move to the other side of the valley to make his commute better but we would have to pay double the mortgage for a house similar to what we have now and he would lose his shop. The shop is why he bought this house, the house was just a bonus. Lol. Moving locally is not worth the mortgage increase. Unless we leave the valley.

I honestly suspect the valley will feel a major housing bust within the next year or two. I was talking to a banking buddy at breakfast the other day and we’re both feeling like the (financial) market will see a change next year. Not feeling confident.

Meh. South is not for us. We like to go north to Prescott to get away from the heat. Breakfast/lunch and bike things make for good day trips. We only go to Tucson for jalapeño bacon.

It makes my nose burn when I bake it. The beard loves it. I can’t do spicy. I recently used some for spicy collard greens. Beard’s coworkers loved it.
