That's the way I would go. If you really need the stiffness, filling the voids with 3m window weld makes a decent DIY solution, or have ones made with a stiffer rubber.

I have to concentrate on getting my project Landcruiser up & running first. Then I'll wrench on this 04 Tacoma. It runs & drives great so I'm in no rush to tear into it. I do plan on replacing both lbj's right away tho just for prevention. You know how these mountain roads are.

Just got the rest of the suspension in today, who wants to help me install in the ocean City area ;). Fyi I don't know diddly squat when it comes to suspension so I'll need a lot of guidance.

Oh i was confused there for a second.

I coated the shit out of my poly mounts in superlube clear grease. Only lasted about 8-9 months. Cab mounts were hands down the worst mod i have ever done by myself on my truck. 10/10 do not recommend and 10/10 do not ever want to do again

I suggest: You start on the front. Finish one side before you take the other apart. That way you have a working model to look at with the other apart. Take pictures before you start. It’s really not that hard.

My Tundra has a water leak during on the passenger side coming from the roof somewhere. It drips down the oh shit handle and on to the passenger's leg. I opened a case with Toyota (truck is 1 month out of CPO comprehensive warranty) and is at the dealer right now. Any advice if Toyota tells me to take a hike?

This is the installation instructions for a 2nd gen TRD Pro kit. It should provide you a good outline.

No roof rack. No sunroof. I was due for service (free) so I figured I'd have them look at it. I didn't want to touch anything before Toyota gives word. I'm still under the mileage for the warranty, but I know it is time or mileage, whatever comes first. I couldn't get through to the dealer via email so I sent Toyota Corporate an email and now I have a few cases open with them.

In case anyone is interested theres a nice little secluded cabin for sale down the road from me. That's the view from the deck. It was recently built but the couple broke up before finishing the inside. Outside wood is reclaimed from a century old barn in PA. Has well & electric. It's on 6 unrestricted acres. It's for sale by owner, she's asking $70k but I was told shes a motivated seller and the price is negotiable. 25422 zip.

Tundra update: dealer just called and told me the windshield is definitely leaking. They're going to have it removed and reinstalled on the house. Super pleased with their service.

Nice view! We've been talking about a mountain cabin in outskirts of the Beckley/White Sulfur Springs area, but for now my In-laws property in Nelson County VA is enough to manage (and paid for).
