If you haven't already moved on the Prinsu, the Victory 4x4 is an alternative. They say they now have a DAI compatible rack.

Anyone else concerned about the stripping piece on the fairing rubbing on the paint? I didn't think there'd be actual contact with the roof.

You could use some 3M paint protection tape under the rubber if you were worried about that. Cheap insurance

I don't see a great way to make those strong enough to support the kind of weight we design the rack for. I use an Access roll-up cover and it works great for my application.

The only other way would be to have the rack hang over the sides of the truck, so still not ideal.

Installed!!! Everything went smooth!! Only one minor issue, not enough nuts, picked some up at Home Depot, and one of the truck roof mounts for some reason was not letting the bolt screw all the way in, tried several other bolts, so that would be a Toyota thing! Great quality, beautiful rack, love it!!

I’m in the process of installing mine and having that bolt issue as well. One of the bars is not allowing one bolt to screw in. What did you use instead?

Nothing yet, put the bolt in as far as it would go, then put silicon around it, temporary fix. I'm going to try a size down bolt or a shorter one, not sure what else!

Thanks sorry, might have misread. I’m having issues with one of the cross bars not accepting one of the button head bolts. Your install came out great btw!

Probably just a bad weld nut in the roof? You could do a few things, get an m6 x 1.0 tap and carefully try and chase the threads (don't break the tap in there whatever you do!) or find a shorter M6 1.0 bolt. Home Depot carries stainless hex heads which will work fine. If you can't stand one mismatched bolt, you will probably have to order the button head online unless you have a good hardware store or fastener store near you. I'd mail you one, but all we carry currently is the length we send in the bolt packs.

We talked via PM but again, sorry about that! Let me know if that tap doesn't work.

You can vent the roof without any problems

@monkeyevil Did the logo change? It looks like it was cut out in the earlier pictures and now it looks like a decal or silkscreened. Also are you planning on doing a 4th of July sale?
