Has anyone considered running 5.29’s with a 6spd?

I’m not DD it, so being overgeared wouldn’t be a huge issue.

    Currently 35’s

I’m really thinking about pulling the trigger on the RCLT once more info and pricing comes out...so then maybe 37-40’s?

i am a 6spd on 35s with 4.56 and would not want to go any higher at all. of course having a crawl box helps with that decision. 37-40s then yeah 5.29 would probably be better especially closer up to 40s. of course this is all subjective. i feel 4.56 is on the upper end of whats needed with 6spd and 35's. 4.10 or 4.30 probably would be better to me..

city driving i am getting 13-14mpg. im also supercharged. I drove from yelm to ocean shores today and back and got about 16.5 mpg and that was with no I-5.

i think at 60 im roughly at 2500 rpm

I got rear ended for the SECOND FUCKING time at pretty much the same exact stretch of I-90 pass coming home today. CBI rear bumper has been hit by two trucks now. Doesn't look like there is any damage and didn't even scratch through the powder coat. The first truck only hit my spare tire and crumpled his hood. Today the guy hit my double jerry can holder and took a bunch of damage from it. One good thing is that when the bumper takes a hit from behind it lifts up the rear end as they wedge under it.

Felt bad for this guy though. He has a really super clean 88 Toyota pickup. So well taken care of and it only looks a couple of years old really. Now it's all crumpled up and radiator leaking. Looks like he needs a hood and grill and other front end repairs.

    Fuck. Bummer
Gotta life be the rear override tho. I always was worried a small car would just go right under.
One of the things I miss about my Taco with 360 degree steel. Go ahead! Hit me! I dare ya! Hahahaha!
Now I feel like I’m driving an eggshell

Well 5100 miles and 20 days later the girl and I are back. Fun road trip.

Started in Anchorage, AK, drove up to Deadhorse, AK,

then back to Fairbanks, over to Tok and up the Taylor highway and into Canada via the "Top of the World Highway" to Dawson City.

Then North as far as you can go...to the Arctic Ocean. Then back down and home via Eastern, WA and took Stevens Pass home. Then got to sit in mid day traffic from Everett to Tacoma :(

Will say though...for city/Territorial parks, Canada blows the shit out of places in the US. Big sites, flat, cheap, in great locations, cheap. This was a free one. The next closest site to us was a good 100 yards

Did get to see all the people driving to the rally on Stevens Pass. And all those clean, fancy rigs that look like they dont leave the pavement >.>
