    That was absolutely awesome.

The poor thing was so scared. I’m happy they were able to get her and she seemed to be a happy and playful little girl.

    Thanks for posting!

That’s what I was thinking. My wife gets home from her trip tonight. When she’s home they’ll no longer need me. I think they might try killing me in my sleep tonight. This morning Louisa kept chewing on my arm and I was thinking she just wanted me to wake up to feed them. Now I’m thinking she may have just been practicing how to kill me.

That might just be it!!! Explains why she licks my head nearly every morning. Just don’t know if they want me dead or a potential food source.

Haha yeah I’ve heard those stories too. That will be my wife. I’ll be long gone by then and my wife will become one of those “crazy” cat ladies. :)

    Good girl!

My Ollie has gotten a couple house mice but we only get them in the Winter. He’s disarmed but still manages indoors quite well. :D

I know that there’s a bit of a debate on the topic of declawing them but I look at it like this: when I made the decision to do it I took complete responsibility for the cats life for as long as they’d be around. My three are totally indoor cats. We are very careful to make sure they don’t get out.

Wife and I got home after being on vacation for 5 days, not sure if Mai Tai ever left his spot from under the covers.

Had a friend come check in on them and he's super skittish around strangers so he probably cowered under here the whole time lol

Even my wife, who HATES rats, yelled out the window to me... did you tell her she’s a good girl? Right then she flung the rat and it almost hit the living room window. Declawing... thought topic that can be debated with no good answer. Cats we had a long time ago got declawed but probably for the last 25 years we quit doing it. Louisa is the only one who goes out without direct supervision and only when we’re home. Her claws definitely help her climb our palm tree if she ever needed to escape

The issue with declawing isn't so much about getting rid of their natural defenses, it's about it being excruciatingly painful for them and downright cruel imo.

My parents used to declaw their cats years ago before it was widely known to be wrong to do.

Most vets out here anyway won't even consider doing it

Same here. I had one declawed and when I realized it was equivalent to having your own finger nails removed, I swore never to do it again. That said, I understand why folks have it done and will not condone them for it even though I no longer support it.
