Fuck, I'm really torn here. I know that I absolutely do not want to go higher than 4" lift. I really don't want 4", but for the price and hassle, it's cheaper/easier than a 3" with good UCAs. I'm afraid the 4" will be too tall. Does anyone else have 4" 285/75 pics to share at different angles?

Also, for anyone that has gone 4" (not you 6.5-7" folks lol), do you have regrets after driving the setup for a while? I want the truck to look proportional on 33s, but not like a clearly lifted truck if that makes sense.

@Leo4x2 has gone 4" initially and he has 100% regrets NOT going 6.5"

He decided to upgrade to a 6.5" after the fact and wishes he had done that from the get-go.

Oh, here's my setup by the way:

Maxtrac spindles, stock springs on 5100s at 0 setting (factory), rear 1.5" add-a-leaf with 1" block (already there) with RCD/Bilstein extended 5100s and extended brake lines out back. Shop told me 2-3" of rear lift at full droop with extended Bilsteins could potentially make stock rear brake lines the limiting straps which is no bueno lol.

Wheels are 16x8 +5. Front will be running .75" BORA wheel spacers (wheels need spacers to clear brake calipers and spindles), rear wheels running 1.25" spacers. 285/75R16s.

I think this will be a good combination for a while. I am really trying to keep it off-road functional with full suspension travel (i.e. no sitting on bump stops/nothing breaking or rubbing) and still look bitchin. I've run some massive trucks over the years (last truck was 2500HD on 9" and 40s), and I know the lift becomes kind of a fever, but I'm just getting too old lol. I think the 4" and 33s will satiate me with this truck.

So tired but truck is dialed. Y'all didn't tell me these spindles add 2 deg of caster. Alignment tech got caster to 4, it was a game changer, truck feels totally different.

    More tomorrow, teaser for now.

    Really nice set up.
Can you get a side view of the front and back tires. I like to see how much the tire sticks out. Any wheel spacers?

Thanks! Ya, not a huge fan of the front profile. My wheels required a spacer to clear calipers so I bolted on .75" BORAs. On top of that with the .75" spindle kickout, the wheels are basically a 16x8 - 38mm. Rears have 1.25" wheel spacers.

I ordered wheelers 1/4" spacers to clear my calipers and extended wheel studs so I can pull the 0.75" bora spacers off. That will pull the wheels in 0.5" and I think that will be just fine. Still a lot cheaper than me wheels and I love these wheels.

Looks gorgeous but I ache for the beating your paint is about to take with that much poke.

Thanks. Pulling in .5" should help but I agree. I do wish the wheels were a little more stuffed which is the Crux of spindles right?

Dont have experience with spindles, but love stance as much as the next guy, my Rays had about .5'' of poke or so and after a year of ATs the quarter and rocker panels were showing some excess wear, same on my 15 and other 19 that had aftermarket wheels with a more aggressive offset. But if you love it just deal, price of admission right.

Ok guys, here's 16x8 0 offset with 285s on the 4" spindles. My preference is that these are not run with a negative offset since they are kicked out so far by the spindles.

Rear has 1.25" spacer to roughly even out (I already had them, .75" is best).

Here's 8" 0 offset vs. 8" -14mm. Something about the negative offset looked disproportional to me. Too much tire was past the fender

I probably would have stayed at the 4" tbh......but since I got my tire/wheel setup, they were rubbing like crazy and I had to trim quite a bit so I went up to the 6.5 and I now clear the rub even at full lock turn/reverse.

14mm is just a tad over 0.5". Why does it look like it sticks out so much more than 0.5" compared to the one that has 0 offset?
