This is what I have. $150, had it professionally installed with all wires hidden at Audiomobile in Oakland for $400, handles the 100+ degree heat in summer and Tahoe chills. Front and rear cams. Going on years and not one issue.

 

Yes. And let it sit for 15 minutes or so so that everything discharges. I doubt anything will go off but it pays to be carefulll

 

I went to Audiomobile some years back and they were good. Quick, professional and reasonable prices.

Just got there towards the end to help wrench the hangers on, and install the bumper. Looks good, Josh. BAMF shackle hangers added. Performed at Rob1208s place.

 

I'm not too far away, in Oakland. If no one closer can't get them give me a shout.

 

I move to Walnut Creek on Tuesday and can grab after then if you need me to

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and figure yer just a young buck then. The front bumper spare tire mount is classic “Overlanding” technique number 42.

Then we headed to the spot @CalTacoma09 @Sharkfrog @rob1208 and I decided not to go to last weekend. (Where we talked to that couple on the ATV)... He was right... absolutely not getting across with the river where it is. But found an OUTSTANDING place to camp... and a cool trail to run to get there. (no way I'm calling it a road).


Then on towards Bourland Meadows.

Made it within less than a mile to Bourland Meadows... But a large tree and snow drifts kept us out.

So we headed to Bourland Tressel

And then headed back to the rat race.

 

Anyone have a lead on an exhaust shop in the east bay - Fremont, Milpitas, San Jose?

Ran into an issue with the wife's commuter car (lancer). Looking at having to replace the manifold cat and also dealing with a slightly rounded downstream O2 sensor that has failed. Damn thing is fused. Before I completely round out that sensor figure id take it into a shop first.

Thx for any shop recommendations.

 

Have you tried PB Blaster or something on the O2 sensor?

 

Yep, soaked it big time over the course of a few days. Definitely not the Tacoma.
