    Thunder struck down at school once. We have tall palm trees, so it seemed to like the tallest one. Power went out immediately after it struck.

    I swear my neighbors house got struck earlier the whole room was white and I felt the vibrations in my chest. The sound was deafening and you could hear the strike bouncing off stuff make smaller cracked whip sounds.
