I would like to get solo spindles for him. But haven't yet because expensive!

 

My bonzen mounts have been sitting on a shelf for over a year. I didn't know there was a problem with the stock bolts being too long. Do you happen to know the thread/pitch and what length I'll need to do it right?

 

Grade 10.9 m12 1.25 would be my guess. Probably 20mm long. Don't know that for certain though. They were about 10mm too long.

I didn't. But yeah it was like 10 blocks. So wasn't really a fair comparison.

 

Hey Monte how much did you shave off for you 35's after the LT install?

I did the fiber glass fronts too but really if I did it again I'd not take so much out of the top. Really just need to reshape the spot by the firewall and it should clear otherwise

Monte, my Google Foo is lacking at the moment. Did you ever post ride height numbers of Frank somewhere? Gonna go mcmfab LT with manual hubs and was curious what ride height would be with 35's

 

I do not have measurements. Last numbers I remember was frame at the front body mount was 19" or so with 33s.

So probably another 1-1.5" higher than that now. I'm 6' 1"ish and have to jump into Frank with a special move using the slider.

He sits pretty tall compared to most. Including Igor my double cab.

So it's tall but doesn't feel "tall" in like a tippy sense due to the width.

It's a great combo, you'll love it.

Did u tub your firewall for the 35's?

 

Yes. I have 35s before long travel though. So if you do long travel first you won't have to tub as much but will still have to do a bit just due to the tire size and gained wheel travel.

Though the purple one is in very sad state now. Was just down there and saw it again. Frank is bad though too.

 

Something seems to happen to them when they don't get driven regularly. The redhead looks like she's aged 20 years, all hunched over just sittin' in the garage. Can only image poor frank being outside all this time.

 

So how is the LT kit from MCM Fab holding up after 5 years? Any corrosion issues? Im thinking of going with this kit for my truck.
