yep. absolutely no difference in the left and right shock. only the kit to raise the oem connection of the brake line on the axel.

 

The reservoir mounting bracket to the truck is the exact same for both sides too? Or did you clamp it to the shock body?

 

mounting brackets are identical and interchangeable. One set of instructions used for both - again only difference is it calls for and shows the brake line kit for the driver side. There are a few tricks to mounting the clamp on the passenger side - Want help let me know. And if you are doing the fronts I can help with that too - I used my oem top hats - went to a local DIY shop and had them remove old shocks from coils and install new. Did the rest of the work myself. about 3 hours total for fronts, and 1 hour for rears. PM me and let me know.

Edit : never mind on help with the fronts - see you already did them. still on to help with the 5160's if you want/need.

 

I am thinking about doing a re-gear and adding a front locker to my 15 Taco. Anyone have recommendation for a good shop. I am definitely not experienced enough to do it myself.

Ya you’re right I just took another look at that picture.
I almost lost my bolt when they were the wrong way..

 

I was over 2.5" of pre load with bumper and winch on 650lb springs. With 700lb springs I only have about 1/2" pre load and the ride is a lot less harsh.
