Funny you mention that about needing a multi probe... I have a hoarding problem I am about to finally clear up...

    lppbVPfMpwhUi0fMwVMkcEnLRmwmQ8IJJH67ahxt_7d2f8a9ae36e887cffbfb81c7998b2de2c9d759f.jpg

I changed it up and got a different probe than this one, nothing wrong, just wanted an app to use. This was only used twice I think. I got a screaming deal on it on a flash sale and it's taking up space... PM me your address and it'll be on it's way if you want it. I have two more multi-probes and a new one on the way so this is taking up space. Friend of mine gifted his the other day on SMF and I thought that was a great idea. I'd like to pay it forward to someone who could use it and took your post as a sign. works really good, I just change accessories a lot :rofl:I did a full review on it back in here somewhere too. But If you'd like it, It is yours.

 PM incoming, I can't say no to a deal like that. I was looking at one of the Inkbird app capable ones that looks like it would be real nice but beggars can't be choosers. If I ever make it back to Austin for an F1 race again I will owe you a couple pours of the good stuff.

The app I do like on the newer model. Or different model really. This one is still really nice with the remote unit. and if you ever upgrade later on, just keep it as a spare or pass it on to someone else. If ya do make it back, let me know for sure.

Still looks edible. Send me a sample to be sure though:rofl:

I have that one too. It works well, but the instructions are unclear for an idiot like me. Penis caught in zip tie, etc.

How you guys doing?! Im gonna admit something. I aint proud but it has to come out. Ive been making my brisket half in the oven (350 for like 2-3hrs) then into the Louisiana Grill/smoker/wood oven for about another hour, maybe 2, ya know, just to get the smokey flavor.

My question here is basically, do you guys cook for a certain time at a certain temp? What would yall recommend for a brisket thats 18ish pounds? I elways end up with really juicy flavorful, well cooked brisket, but I never get that nice bark around it. I usually just wing it on ALL my cooks, even the whole roasted piglet. I usually do really well, but I do have the oddball under cooked or slightly over cooked steak. Any advice would be appreciated.
